Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you (the studio, and the person who signs up for it) and PickleBook, a sole proprietorship of Suraj Bansode in India. By creating an account you agree to them and to our privacy policy.

1. The service

PickleClick helps photography studios manage inquiries, bookings, clients, payments, contracts and invoices. We keep improving it, so features may change; we will not remove something you pay for in the middle of a paid period without telling you first.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older and able to enter into contracts in India.
  • Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your team’s logins.
  • Tell us straight away at picklebook.hq@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Price and optional paid services

  • PickleClick is free to use, in both Solo and Team. There is no subscription, no trial and no payment in the app, and we don’t ask for a card.
  • If we ever decide to charge for PickleClick, we will email you at least 60 days before. Nobody will be charged automatically, and you will be able to export your data first.
  • We also offer optional paid services: a guided demo, setup and training, and priority support. Each is agreed with you in writing (email is fine) before it starts, with its scope and price, and billed by invoice. You pay by bank transfer or UPI, outside the app.
  • If we can’t deliver a service you paid for, we refund it. You can cancel a booked session with at least 24 hours’ notice for a refund or a new date.
  • PickleBook is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged on services. If that changes, we will tell you before it affects an invoice.
  • Fair use: each account has an attachment storage limit (1 GB on Solo, 5 GB on Team) and limits that stop spam and abuse.

4. Your data and your clients’ data

  • What you put into PickleClick is yours. We use it only to provide the service, as our privacy policy explains.
  • For your clients’ personal data, your studio is responsible under the DPDP Act: collect only what you need, have a lawful reason to keep it, and handle your clients’ requests to correct or delete it. We act as your processor.
  • You can export your data yourself at any time, or ask us for a copy. After you close your account we keep it for 90 days, then delete it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use PickleClick to:

  • send spam or messages people did not ask for, or break WhatsApp’s or Instagram’s rules;
  • store data you have no right to hold, or anything illegal;
  • try to access other studios’ data, break our security, or overload the service;
  • resell the service without our written permission.

6. Templates, AI and legal documents

Contract templates, AI suggestions, GST invoices and other documents are tools to save you time, not legal or tax advice. Check everything before you send it, and have your contract template reviewed by a lawyer and your GST settings confirmed by your CA. You are responsible for the contracts and invoices you issue.

7. WhatsApp, Instagram and other services

If you connect WhatsApp, Instagram or a payment provider, you also agree to their terms. Those services can change or stop without notice; we are not responsible for their availability.

8. Availability

We work to keep PickleClick running and your data backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We will tell you in advance about planned maintenance when we can.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, PickleBook is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost bookings, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing).

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time by writing to picklebook.hq@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where that is reasonable.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies; continuing to use PickleClick after that means you accept it.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will try to resolve any dispute by talking first; if that fails, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
